Tinytots Vision Nursery

Tinytots Vision Nursery has successfully been serving the community since 2005 and operates from the old caretakers house which has had a spacious extension built on, to enable the children to have generous space to play. The nursery is situated on Grecian Street North in Salford. We are registered for 51 children aged from 3 months to five years. The setting is open from 7.30am until 6pm Monday to Friday throughout the year and we are registered by Ofsted. Within the nursery we have lots of people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds which provides many exciting opportunities to learn about a variety of cultures and beliefs. We have an effective settling in program which enables us to spend time with parents to find out the best way to support their child, whether this be because they are shy or are coming to a setting where English is not their first language.

We work closely with Starting Life Well which enables us to keep up to date with new guidelines and practice, continuously developing and improving our practice. Links have been made with other Early Years Foundation Stage providers which ensures a smooth transition to other settings. In 2010 we became an Every Child a Talker (ECaT) setting this has provided staff members with training and information to improve speech, language and communication by working closely with children to develop their speaking and listening skills and provide support at an early age. We have also in 2015 become an Autism Friendly Setting which has enabled us to develop our setting to ensure that all children are able to access the nursery environment.
