Tinytots Nursery @ The Emmanuel Centre

Tinytots Nursery has successfully been serving the community since 2012 and operates from the Emmanuel Centre on Langworthy Road in Salford. We are registered for 26 children aged from 3 months to five years and all children share the one room which enables a family atmosphere as siblings can see each other regardless of there ages. The setting is open from 7.45am until 5.45pm Monday to Friday throughout the year and we are registered by Ofsted. Within the nursery we have lots of people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds which provides many exciting opportunities to learn about a variety of cultures and beliefs. We have an effective settling in program which enables us to spend time with parents to find out the best way to support their child, whether this be because they are shy or are coming to a setting where English is not their first language. Over recent years we have also worked closely with the Early Support Team offering specialist care to children with complex needs attending training to support us in doing this. In 2016 we became an Autism Friendly Setting which has enabled us to develop our setting to ensure that all children are able to access the nursery environment. We work closely with Starting Life Well which enables us to keep up to date with new guidelines and practice, continuously developing and improving our practice. Links have been made with other Early Years Foundation Stage providers which ensures a smooth transition to other settings.
