Community Work
Tinytots Vision Ltd has been an important part of Broughton for over 20 years now and is not only keen to offer affordable childcare but also support the local people too. Gwen Tansey, the companies Project Co-Ordinator and founder member, is employed by the company to engage the community and network with other professionals to ensure that the community needs are catered for. She is responsible for co-ordinating current and new projects and to help maintain the effective running of the company.
Current groups that are running within the local community
Tuesday 1-3pm @ Broughton Recreation Centre, Camp Street: Crotchet/Knitting group
Wednesday 10-12pm @ The Naz Community Centre, Great Clowes Street: Art and craft group (creche places available)
Charity Fundraising
Tinytots take part in a number of fundraising opportunities for both local charities such as St Francis House and Wood Street Mission and also national campaigns such as Children in Need and taking part in the MacMillans Coffee Morning. Fundraising is an important part of any community and can have a massive impact on the wider community and hold many benefits for the children. The children and staff have an amazing time getting involved; it can generate awareness of particular causes, show support and compassion, boost esteem and importantly make a difference.
